Drying is a key element in proper grain storage. Grain dryers are a great way to reduce crop loss due to spoiling. Grain quality is the factor that can be most easily controlled by the dryer operator. Quality problems are identified under three areas: brittleness, heat damage, and reduced feed value. Pre-Season Preventative Maintenance
Proactively have your grain dryer checked and serviced before the harvest season arrives. Have ASI Contracting check your dryer’s augers, bearings, chains, belts, gas lines, checking/changing the oil as needed, and cleaning the burner. We will fire the dryer to ensure easy startup for the upcoming harvest season. If we find any major repairs, we will communicate this with you for approval before it is done.
Repairs
We understand that preventative maintenance helps with break downs, but it is not a fix all. When you find yourself in this situation ASI Contracting has a warehouse and work trailers stocked with inventory for immediate repair needs. Break downs can happen at any time, that’s why ASI-Contracting is a 24-hour service business. We are here to help keep your harvest season moving.
